The old ski hut was completely destroyed by an avalanche on February 17, 1990. That same year, the then SCA board decided to build a new, slightly larger ski hut. In the fall of 1991, our hut sponsor, Inge Langer, broke ground. The ceremonial inauguration of the newly built ski hut took place on September 10, 1993.

In spring 2025, the hut was severely damaged by a falling rock, which caused significant damage to an external wall and necessitated extensive renovation work. Repair and refurbishment work began in summer 2025: the rock was cleared away and the hut uncovered, a new entrance area was created and a new terrace was built. A new area for storing wood was also created and a fire escape ladder was installed from the upper floor. Inside, a new bathroom was also fitted.

The renovation of the interior is scheduled for completion by mid-July 2026. After that, the hut will shine in new splendour and look forward to welcoming many visitors.

The cabin is equipped with a kitchen, a large paneled living room, a dormitory sleeping approximately 23 people, a bathroom with a shower and sink, and restroom facilities. Reservations from Ski-Club Arlberg members are gladly accepted at the SCA office. The cabin is available only during the summer months.
